Welcome back everyone, and welcome newcomers! This is a daily ad breakdown where we dissect the structure of an ad. This will focus on How To Get Your Audience To Pay Attention!

    Hip Hop Bundle Ad

In this ad, we have a hip-hop bundle. I don’t listen to music, but I can see the basic ad structure, so let’s break it down.

The headline is the first thing that we see as a part of the ad it says “Diginoiz 14th Anniversary” Now the viewer does not know who or what Diginoiz is, so it’s not good to put it in the headline. The headline is always supposed to get the viewer interested, but putting the name of the brand or company will only get people who know what they do to be interested. This is not ideal because when companies advertise, the majority of the time it is only for people who do not know who they are or what they do. This is a common mistake I see when looking through ads, and here is the best solution to deal with this issue.

Creating the headline of the ad is the most important part but most companies look over it like it’s not a big deal. The headline is what gets people to read your article so it is the Most Important Part. When you create your headline the best way to reel in your audience is to get them to see why they would want your product. You need to highlight the benefits at the beginning of the Ad.

Now the discount, I’m not a big fan of discounts in selling unless it’s a members discount. But in general, you should never give a discount before saying the benefit. You need to give context before giving a discount on anything, it’s like someone walks up to you on the street and says, “Hey it’s my anniversary give me a dollar… I’ll give you a pack of gum.” You’ll just walk away as soon as they say ‘Give me a dollar’. It is the same thing with the combination of “14th anniversary” and “97% Discount”.

Now when you are advertising it’s almost criminal to not demonstrate the product. In this case, they could have a sample of the songs on their website, they could show some of the songs that are on there, or tell me who uses the bundle like famous or semi-famous people using it. They need to know why they should use your product, and you need to make it as easy as possible for them to know.

Let’s make sure that the viewer has a reason to want your product before discounting or selling.
