    With these simple tips, your marketing will always outcompete your competition.


    When I started to learn about marketing, I thought of all the big companies like Netflix, Amazon, and McDonalds. All these companies have great marketing, but do you know the difference between us and them?


    We don’t have a billion-dollar marketing budget! And if you do, these principles still apply.


    Easily Get Ahead In Marketing With This Trick


    You need to be able to grab the readers' attention by the throat and force them to read.


    Maybe don’t replicate entirely, but you get the point.

    You need a statement that will make the reader say “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!”


    But how would you create such a hypnotic statement? It's easy. And everyone knows it. So let’s start by understanding why people don’t pay attention to ads.


    For the most part people like talking to people. People like talking without having to think too hard about it. Many businesses forget this and try to sound smart by using “high-level vocabulary” without addressing what problem the person reading the ad wants to solve.


    The Worst Marketing Mistakes Business Owners Make


    Do you want to know what people who get those ads think? “What does that mean?” Scroll away.


    For example, here’s a Real Ad for a dentist I found. “Looking for a top-notch dental experience in Manchester? Look no further! Ringway Dental in Cheadle is now 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!” No. Just no.


    Nobody is looking for a “Top-notch dental experience” They are looking to remove stains, or they are looking to get a specific solution.


    Another example is “Dr. T**** Mc****** and our team at The Pediatric Dentist are dedicated to a great dental experience! Request an appointment today. We can't wait to meet you and your child!”


    Sorry to say it, but people don’t care about what her or her team are dedicated to. And she doesn’t give them a reason to. Again, people are not wondering what Dr. T**** Mc****** and her team are up to, they want to know how they can keep their kid’s teeth healthy.


    How To Make Your Marketing The Best

    Now that we see what they did wrong, let’s see what you can do right.

    The goal is to make sure that you never confuse the reader. You want to make your message clear enough that someone who’s half asleep can understand what you’re saying.


    It isn’t their job to read your ads, it’s their choice; so they can choose to leave whenever they want, which is why you need to force them to read it. You need to make them understand that the message that you are trying to convey is going to solve their problems with ease.


    So what’s the best way to force them to read? Do the one thing you need to do to get their attention, call their name. Now your target audience is most likely not people that go by one name, but they do have things in common.


    Let’s take the dentist ad for example, the one thing their target audience has in common is that they have teeth stains that they want to get rid of. So now that we know their name, all we need to do is call it, “Do you want to get rid of teeth stains?”


    That’s a simple headline that will pull the reader’s attention. The reader will know that the ad is meant for them so they will pay attention for them, then you need to reel them in with a clear Call-To-Action that makes it as simple as clicking a button like,


    “Easily get rid of your teeth stains here at ****** Clinic. Book A Call With Us Today!” All this will force the reader to make a No-Brainer decision without having to do anything complicated.


    While your competitors are calling out “Do You Want To Know About Me? Call Now!” You will call out “Do You Want To Solve Your Problems? We Have The Solution, Call Now!” This simple change will drastically increase the results of your ads.
