The first noticeable thing is that the ad runs on all meta platforms. That is not a good sign because most people who know how to target audiences will not target all platforms.
Now the headline of the Ad is not too spectacular… The first thing that they do is talk about their company, which the viewer does not care about, and that they are ceramic coating experts. Ok?
Next, we immediately get to the hefty price of $1000 or $999. All we know at this point is that they claim to be Car Detailing and Ceramic Coating Experts, and they charge $999. It is not off to a good start but let's continue.
Now as I’m reading the body text I see the last 3 could easily be turned into the main headline of the ad. “Do you want to Reduce the Time/Effort it takes to Maintain Your Car?” or “Give Your Car A New Glossy Look with Crystal Paint Protection”, or “Do You Want Your Car To Have That New Car Shine?” Those are some basic examples of good headlines.
Next, they talk about experience. Now my opinion on using experience as a measure of trust is not the best, because people can do something for a long time… and still be bad or mediocre at it. For example, a 65-year-old has a lot of experience in life… that doesn’t mean that they are good at it. So in this case I would supplant it with a testimonial of a happy customer.
The Call-To-Action is pretty weak here… What would the viewer be calling or texting you for? Why would it benefit the viewer to call or text you? This Call-To-Action does not answer any of these questions and leaves the viewer confused. And we all know what a confused viewer does Scroll… So, let’s fix this by giving a clear reason for the viewer to call. “Call Today So You Can Get That New Car Shine”. This should be a smooth way to get people to contact them.
Overall, this ad doesn’t need much work to be turned into something that can produce a lot more conversions. These simple actions will turn things around. That is all for Daily Ad Breakdown #2. Thank You For Reading.
